The Remedy Live Obsession

Some would call it an obsession (like me) while others might call it a fine taste in the arts at the age of 3(hehehe).  Reid has always absolutely loved The David Crowder Band.  LOVED.  He goes to bed at night listening to their music (his choice) and requests to listen to DCB daily. Lucky for him, Daddy owns all their cd's.

Daddy Dearest also owns the DVD of one of their live concerts from the Remedy album.  UH OH.  It just took one time of Reid watching this dvd for the obsession to ignite.  DAILY Reid requests to watch the dvd over and over again.  It has now become a tool of rewards/consequences depending on his daily attitude.  "Do you want to watch David Crowder today?  Okay, then you need to listen to Mommy!"  I love this dvd!

Reid "Crowder" will sit in front of the concert and sing the songs, belting out.  He mimics using Daddy's Guitar Hero guitar b/c in the middle of the concert, Crowder busts out the Guitar Hero guitar too.  Oh dear.  His favorite song is the intro to the concert in which Reid has named "Stairs."  This name stems from them walking up stairs I suppose.  We have great video of him humming and singing the Stairs song, live with hand motions and action sounds.  The action sounds are mainly to show us when the lights flare on all of a sudden (one of Reid's favorite parts).  Excitement.  While most kids are loving Toy Story, Cars and Ice Age, my son prefers the David Crowder Band Live Remedy Tour DVD.  What can I say?  Here's a one day glimpse of his obsession, accompanied by his groupie, C-line.

It's tough being a rock star at such a young age.  We shall work on the plumber's crack as time goes on...
