This year we headed to the ranch with friends for the weekend of 4th of July...we all had such a wonderful time. Our main highlights were riding around on the mule with the kids. Letting Caroline splash in mud puddles and dump nasty, muddy water on her head (she just did this before anyone could stop her), the adults having afternoon cocktail hour which consisted of a fancy name with not much point and us dressing up like ridiculous characters to be silly in front of our children, etc. Anywho, the entire weekend was nothing short of a blast. Here are a few pics (or 20) from the weekend. *Special note, I am going to post one of the most heinous pictures in history of myself looking like Elmer Fudd only to show that we looked silly too.

Crazy Madras Plaid Golf Couple & Lastly, I'm not sure...Elmer Fudd (me) and Mick Dundee? Next year we'll plan this ahead of time to be extra dorky, b/c that's how we roll.
