Rise Up, Bears!

We had a blast this past weekend in Waco, celebrating the Bears opening game with friends.  We stayed with wonderful friends and made a weekend out of it.  I have a few more pics, but here are some my awesome friend Jana took.  Reid was not around when Jana was w/ the camera so I'm sad to say that I don't have a pic of him right now from the first game...boo, Mommy! 

On another note, the Bears DID win (as they better had since they were playing SHSU) and on Sunday we went to UBC for worship.  We've been telling the little man that we'd take him to hear the David Crowder band at his church when we were in Waco sometime.  Well we were and it worked out beautifully.  Reid not only met his favorite band's lead singer, but he got to talk to him about the other guys in the band, Jack and B-Wac.  (I know it's a large band but he's really fond of Jack and B-Wac).  Anywho, the little man was in awe the entire time they led worship.  Made me really happy...and the music was phenomenal.  What  a neat church!  I really liked the atmosphere and the things they were doing to plug in the students at Baylor, along with families in the community.  If only we lived in Waco...
