Reid's party this year was full of good times and good loud noise! We had a drum set up with one of the wonderful boys from our youth group to help man it, along with an electric guitar plugged into an amp. As you can imagine, the kids were overjoyed with the noise...the parents and relatives--hmm, perhaps not so much! ;-)
We had 2 fun stations for the kids to spray their hair crazt colors and put on tattoos, stickers and silly bands so they would be true rock stars, country stars or folk singers...take your pick. Ha! All the cute, cute decor like the VIP posters, backstage passes, cupcake decor and let me not forget the adorable guitar iced cookie party favors were done my sister-in-law (who should really think about going into party planning business--HINT HINT). My brain just doesn't work that way and hers just does WONDERFULLY. Thank you, Jaime! Now please notice the group shot at the top--we really need to work on Reid's guy friend ratio. WOW. ;-)
At the end of the day 5 gazillion pictures were taken, a little boy was absolutely thrilled that he had a band in his back yard and we were blessed to have spent another year being Reid's Mommy and Daddy. We love our little 4-year-old! Picture overload warning...
It was a really fun party. Luke had a blast! And everything was so cute--Jaime really should go into the party planning business.
