Lately

Lately he makes me laugh often...lately he is still obsessed with the globe and geography.  He's planning a trip to Russia, China and Spain soon if you'd like to come along.  The biggest thing is that he gets to spend the night on the plane b/c we all know how not fun that is!  Lately he wants to have family movie night all the time, because he gets to turn out the lights, watch a fun flick and eat popcorn.  Lately he is really into science from his school--he's even teaching me things that I'm sure I supposedly knew at one point, but alas, I've forgotten.  Thanks for teaching me, little man!  Lately, he finally completely stopped napping.  I have come to the stage of admittance.  All is well.  Lately he and his little sister play together constantly and it's so darn cute.  Last night they washed cars with their new koosh balls (remember those?).  Lately he wants to read Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day all the time.  We discuss how it's no fun to be like Alexander...life is too short to have a bad attitude!  Lately he makes my heart melt daily...love you, Little Man!

Lately she is becoming a little more rambunctious...or 2 1/2.  Lately she wants to dress up in everything she can put her hands on from Spiderman to a ballerina.  Lately she has found the make-up drawer all too often without my knowledge...until the evidence proves her guilt.  Sweet lip gloss and mascara all over the face!  Lately she wants to play soccer everyday, however it doesn't start for another couple of years.  She cannot wait.  Lately she loves doing forward rolls...what a gymnast!  Lately she loves singing alone, with her brother, in her crib, with her family...she just loves to sing.  Lately she still goes batty if she sees a bug, ant, etc.  Mommy has to get a hold on this b/c it's a bit...well, dramatic!  Lately she loves reading Madeline however she calls it Caroline.  Did the author of that book intend to write the entire story about appendicitis for children?  Random.  She also loves anything and all things Olivia and so do I.  Lately she is getting more into painting on her easel.  Lately she makes me smile all the time.  Love you, Birdie!
