These were taken by my neighbor when sweet Birdie was 6 weeks old. I love them. My little doll turned two this year and with my less than steller blogging (I'm catching up) I never wrote my official "you're two" note to little C. So, here goes...I thought I'd add some of her baby pics that I love.
Look at that chubby face...love it. Oh and look at that blonde mama! I miss my blonde hair, but I don't miss the highlighting bill. ;-) Seriously, though, when I see blonde pics I get a little sad. My hair has gotten so much darker the older I've gotten...and gray. UGH. I don't mind gray but not in my 30's...a little young.
Dear Birdie,
We have had the best year so far of you being two. Your language has blossomed into cute, sometime hilarious little sentences. I love hearing your voice, especially when you're singing. You LOVE to sing. You also love to shake those hips to the music. You take a music class at church and never stop singing, dancing and running during the class. You love!
Not surprisingly, you still adore your big brother. You want to do ALL that he does and sometimes you just don't understand why you can't yet, but you sure do try! You seem to have no fear. You will climb anything, try anything and usually you're pretty successful. I love your adventurous spirit! Your favorite things to play with are LOTS of things. You love cars, pushing babies in strollers, dinosaurs, doll houses, etc. However, I'll go back to cars--that seems to be your fave. You are constantly lining them up then driving them on the walls, couches, chairs, floor, etc. Too cute!
You have had a blast in your preschool class this year. It was such a wonderful year with blessings of teachers. Your bestie, Reese was in your class which made it double the fun. You girls seemed to have done everything together. When we'd round the corner at school and you'd see your class, you'd go running ahead so excited to get there. I love that you love school!
Your little prayers have gotten really sweet. Melts our hearts. Daddy loves to show you all your "bunnies" as you call them each night. Those bunnies are mommy's collection of Beatrix Potter figurines that I got growing up. They now reside in a special place in your room. You love to look at each figurine and talk about it. Soon we'll start reading the books that go with the figurines...oh boy!
Your sweet spirit, adventurous nature and precious smile make you irresistibly cute to this mommy. I'm so proud of you as is your daddy. We cannot wait to see you grow and mature.
Love you, Birdie!
Mommy
