Saturday morning we headed to a bakery for the Bridal Brunch. We had delicious quiche, fruit, muffins and biscuits. YUMMY.
Grandma Ginny and me
It such a fun weekend altogether. I loved hanging out with Lindsey's friends who were bridesmaids with me...although I was a "matron" of honor. I guess that sounds distinguished, huh? ;-) I was so impressed with my NON-bridezilla sister. She was so relaxed the entire weekend which was a breath of fresh air. Actually, I don't know that I've been in a wedding where the bride hasn't been relaxed so I'm not sure what the "breath of fresh air" comment means, but it was low-key. Yeah, you get it.
The cutest part of the whole thing was Reid being the ring bearer. They were married at the church where we all attended elementary school--Christ Episcopal. The chapel is stunning. It's very old, wooden and pristine, plus it holds special memories of going to chapel in elementary school. There are some rather strict rules that go along with getting married there. One in particular is that all children in wedding must be 5 years or older. Reid got special permission--yay! And he did a fabulous job...I was so proud! I took as many pics as I could of the night, starting with all of us getting ready for the big ceremony in the bridal room.
I loved Lindsey's "something blue" in the form of sassy navy heels! Too cute!
Daddy was cracking Reid up by blowing air on his little nose
We all headed in a limo to the reception for a great time with yummy food. I'm getting so old because by the end the bed was beckoning me! Taylor and Lindsey headed off in a limo for Houston where they left the next day for Napa Valley (JEALOUS!). Beautiful ceremony and fabulous time!
