She's Growing Up...

Caroline Nicole, my how you've grown!  You are now 18 Months old.  Sniff sniff.  My little baby girl is getting bigger and bigger each day.  I hear a new word or three come out of your little mouth daily...it's precious and makes a mom proud. 

Here are some cute things you have started doing:

• You are very fond of your doll, Chloe and your lovies.  You want to bring them downstairs like big brother and when you pick them up, you automatically start sucking your thumb.  They are your comfort.
• You love to give hugs and kisses to Mommy and Daddy.  You also love to hug your friends.
• You can now point to all of the parts of your face and show me where mine are too.  You LOVE this!
• You LOVE tv--uh oh.  You love Dora, Super Why and Team Umizumi the most.  You dance, clap, scream and giggle when any of the above come on tv.
• You LOVE to play outside.  You want to go there constantly.  When outside you tell me "bubbles" b/c you want to blow bubbles.  You also love to swing.
• You are still picky picky picky when it comes to food.  You have never eaten meat and you don't like veggies.  I'm working on this but you sure are stubborn!
• You have a big thing for shoes.  If you are barefoot for even a little bit, you walk around saying, "shoes" while looking for some.  If you find a pair (even mine or daddies) you try to put them on yourself.  Miss Independent!  Next you bring them to me to put on you.  A girl needs her shoes, apparently!
• Daddy and I often catch you singing.  I'm not sure what song, but you sure are singing...it's so sweet.
• You have FINALLY gotten into books.  For the longest time you would just turn the pages and throw the book (not to mention your brother was always in the background acting silly), but now you bring me the same books over and over and listen!  YAY!  Just like big bro, your fave is "Moo, Baa, La, La, La."  You also love all your bedtime books like "Beddy Bye, Baby" and "The Going to Bed Book."
• You have started to imitate a lot of what I do like carrying a purse and pretending to put on make-up.  It's really, really cute.  

We LOVE you so so so much!  You are a little doll...fiesty, sweet and fun all rolled into one.  I can't wait to travel the road ahead with you in your journey of life.
